Another free pet adoption day is coming up at the Van Buren County Animal Control Shelter. The event is thanks to support from the Bissell Pet Foundation out of Grand Rapids, which will pick up the cost of taking a critter home. The animal shelter’s Kasey Murphy says everyone can stop by on Saturday, August 13.
“Pretty much any person that wants to come and take a look at what we have, they’re welcome,” Murphy told WSJM. “We’ll make sure that everything’s a good fit, and it will be free of charge because Bissell will be paying the entire amount.”
The event next Saturday will run from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the animal shelter in Hartford. You can learn more at the Friends of Van Buren County Animal Control Facebook page.
