If you didn’t know, there is such a thing as the “National Toy Hall Of Fame” and it’s actually located in Rochester, New York. Each year they come up with a list of 12 or so toys that they feel are “hall of fame” worthy. Out of the 12, usually only about 2 or 3 make it in.
The Finalists:
- Care Bears
- Nerf
- Pinball
- Dungeons and Dragons
- Clue
- Coloring Books
- Transformers
- Swings (yes, as in a swing set, swings)
- Uno
- Fisher-Price Little People
- Rock ‘Em Sock ‘Em Robots
- Bubble Wrap…yup…a packing material has also been classified as a toy.
The winner will be selected on November 10th.
