It will be 70 colleges in one place on one night this month as Lake Michigan College holds its annual College Night. High school kids planning to head to a four-year university can go and meet with admission reps from all over the country. LMC’s Barbara Craig tells WSJM News the event is a great resource for those students about to enroll in college.
“This really is a pretty major purchase that they have to make, and they’re full of trepidation, so it’s really nice for them to be able to approach an admissions representative, and realize that they really are interested in them as a person and trying to help them make the right choices,” Craig said.
On hand for college night this year will be admissions reps from universities like MSU, U of M, and WMU, plus 67 others. College night will be held at LMC’s Mendel Center from 6 to 7:30 p.m. on September 26. Everyone’s welcome, and students are asked to register at LakeMichiganCollege.edu/CollegeNight.
