Six pet oxygen masks have been donated to Van Buren County fire departments. This week, Invisible Fence of Western Michigan gave the masks to South Haven Area Emergency Services, along with the Bangor, Columbia, and Covert Township Fire Departments. South Haven Area Emergency Services tells WSJM News the donations were in response to an incident just last month in which the department was able to save a semi-conscious dog from a house fire. For that rescue, firefighters did not have the specially-fitted masks, but now they’ll be better equipped. More than 18,200 pet oxygen masks have been donated by Invisible Fence to fire departments across the country.
