The spirit of the fall is being celebrated this weekend in St. Joseph. It’s time for the annual Fall Festival downtown on Friday and Saturday. St. Joe Today’s Amy Zapal tells WSJM News there will be family fun all day Saturday, followed by the wine festival at 4 p.m. That includes the public art auction.
“One of the highlights of the event is the auction of the public art for the city of St. Joseph,” Zapal said. “The theme this year was Fishin’ for Fun so there are some beautiful sharks and friendly fish that are decorated and painted by local artists. Those will be auctioned off at 6 o’clock.”
The Fall Festival kicks off Friday with the bed races. Zapal tells us the weekend is a way to recognize everything that makes St. Joseph unique this time of year. You can find a schedule at StJoeToday.com.
