The U.S. Coast Guard is asking everyone to stay out of Lake Michigan, and away from the piers this weekend. A gale watch is in effect through Sunday morning. The National Weather Service warns there’s a chance of gale force winds around 35 knots all of this weekend. Stay off the piers because waves generated by the winds can knock you into the lake. Again, it is dangerous to go out on to the piers this weekend.
