A 67-year-old Buchanan man has died while hunting in Cass County. The sheriff’s department tells WSJM News David Newsom’s body was found around 5:30 p.m. yesterday at an address in the 30-thousand block of Pokagon Highway, about a mile east of Barron Lake Road in Dowagiac. Newsom’s body was found in the woods and his death is not considered suspicious. His death remains under investigation.
