Country star Chris Stapleton just scored his first No. 1 hit on the country radio charts. “Broken Halos” has taken the No. 1 spot on the Mediabase Country Radio Singles chart, which ranks the number of spins a single gets on country radio within a week. Stapleton’s ballad pushed Thomas Rhett’s “Marry Me” to No. 2. “Broken Halos” is the first track on Stapleton’s 2017 record, From A Room: Volume 1. The song was released as a promotional single ahead of the album’s release.  Luke Bryan’s “Most People Are Good” took the no. 3 spot on the country chart, while Devin Dawson’s “All On Me” and Brett Eldredge’s “The Long Way” came in at No. 4 and 5, respectively.
