Donald Trump is set to speak Friday in Eaton County. The Republican Presidential nominee will hold a rally at the Summit Sports and Ice Complex near Lansing. While speaking with WLNS TV, general manager Paige Sauer says the complex has never taken on such a big event.
“This is a first for us, so we’re very excited,” Sauer said. “It’s great for Lansing, and it’s great for Michigan, so it should be a good event.”
Police from around mid-Michigan are coordinating to make sure strong security is provided. Doors will open at 12:30 p.m.
