The Upper Peninsula will be buzzing this weekend with the 33rd annual Harbor Fest back. The Marquette West Rotary puts on the free event for all ages. That’s according to Rosemary Smith, with the Marquette West Rotary.
“It’s a free event,” Smith said. “Bring the family. The music is free. We’re all volunteers, so we don’t get paid. We use the proceeds to fund all kinds of kid and adult senior citizen activities in the Marquette County Area.”
Smith also says they’ll have three tall ships on hand for rides. Also, the Marquette Maritime Museum offers a view of the Northern Lights which are expected to make an appearance.
