Friday is the big day for fans of the St. Joe Bears and Lakeshore Lancers. The two football teams square off at Lakeshore’s Al Stockman Stadium for their annual rivalry game. Lakeshore Head Coach Brian Keim tells WSJM Sports it’s been an exciting week of practicing.
“The community’s more focused, the kids are just abuzz around everything we do,” Keim said. “So, it makes it fun. It makes it fun to come to practice on Monday and just feel that excitement.”
Lakeshore has won the last two games against St. Joseph, and also won the last five out of six. Game time is 7 p.m., while pregame coverage starts at 6:30 on WSJM Sports and Y Country.
