Time is running out to register to vote if you want to have a say in next month’s elections. Michigan Secretary of State’s office spokesperson Fred Woodhams tells WSJM news the deadline is Tuesday. He also notes you can find out everything you need to know about polling locations and what’s on the ballot at Michigan.gov/Vote.
“It’s a great resource for all of the voters across the state to check their registration status and then view their sample ballot before going to the polls this November 8,” Woodhams said.
Woodhams recommends reading over your ballot ahead of time so you don’t contribute to the long lines likely on election day. If you still need to register to vote, just stop by a Michigan Secretary of State branch office by Tuesday.
