Staff at the Berrien County Clerk’s office have been very busy in recent weeks as they prepare for the November 8 elections. County Clerk Sharon Tyler tells WSJM News there’s a ton of preparations to do.

“We have been working with our election workers to make sure they are trained and prepared for the November 8 election,” Tyler said. “We have also done challenger training to make sure everything is verified. We’re doing testing on the equipment, making sure everything is correct.”

Tyler says she expects turnout to be high on the 8th, advising voters the ballots will likely be two pages, so they should give themselves lots of time. Tyler also reminds everyone to bring a photo ID to the polling place and not to wear any candidate buttons or t-shirts.
