Set for this Saturday is the Humane Society of Southwest Michigan’s first ever Village Charcuterie Festival. Director Jill Svoboda tells WSJM News  it’s a fine food and drink celebration in downtown Stevensville.

“We are actually closing down St. Joseph Avenue there, the main road downtown,” Svoboda said. “We will have a huge tent closing down the street.”

Svoboda tells us they’ll have a variety of food vendors you can sample, along with local breweries and wineries. The event will be from noon to 4 p.m. rain or shine. There’s a limited number of tickets left, so if you’re interested, get one now. You can do that at the Humane Society’s website or at its Facebook page. Proceeds go to the new building fund.
