Everyone’s welcome to a meeting next week in St. Joseph to offer their input on the master plan for Riverview, Dickinson, and Whirlpool Centennial Parks. St. Joseph Public Works Deputy Director Greg Grothous tells WSJM News you can show up and suggest whatever you’d like to see in those parks.
“This is the dream phase,” Grothous said. “This is the wish phase. So, throw out your ideas of what you’d like to see there. We’ll put it on a board, and we’ll build conceptual drawings based on the feedback that takes place in this meeting as well as the surveys available on the website.”
Another meeting for input will be held next month. Grothous told us the master plans for Riverview, Dickinson, and Whirlpool Centennial Parks will guide their development for years to come. Next Tuesday’s meeting will be at 6 p.m. at city hall.
