Congressman Fred Upton is hoping to see the situation in the White House stabilize with recent changes in staff. He tells us he’s optimistic about the job new Chief of Staff John Kelly can do. Congressman Upton tells WSJM News there’s real work that needs to get done.

“I think all of us are hoping that the chaos really begins to slow down and be eliminated,” Upton said. “We have a very busy fall agenda.”

Upton tells us Congress needs to work on the debt ceiling, spending bills, infrastructure, and tax reform. He also says the U.S. needs to have a strong hand on things like North Korea and Afghanistan.
