Lake Michigan College is planning an open house to show off a new model of learning to anyone interested in earning computer technology degrees. LMC tells us its new Virtual Learning Environment — or, VLE — model is being unveiled at the open house. The VLE is designed to allow students to switch back and forth between attending classes either online or in person, depending on what’s most convenient for them on a given day.

The open house guests will see demonstrations of the VLE in action. LMC tells us VLE “takes online learning to the next level by giving students the best of both worlds.” Anyone who wants to see it in action can sign up for the by calling LMC. The two-day information technology open house will be Monday, December 4 and Tuesday, December 5, from 9 a.m.–9 p.m. on LMC’s Benton Harbor campus. You can also find out more right here.
