The anti-bullying Relentless Tour will stop by Niles High School next week. Relentless features motivational speaker and former Michigan State University basketball player Anthony Ianni who tells WSJM News he started the tour in 2015 to urge young people to treat each other with respect. He draws on his own experiences as a kid with bullying.
“Through the Michigan Department of Civil Rights, I’ve been travelling all over the state and all over the country to deliver my message for anti-bullying as well as hope and inspiration,” Ianna said.
Ianni tells us the other kids also teased him for being unusually tall. He overcome it all and went on to be an MSU basketball star. Ianni will give his Relentless presentation at Niles High School at 9:30 a.m. Tuesday.
