Kinexus Vice President of Government Affairs Al Pscholka will be part of a roundtable discussion on talent development at next week’s Mackinac Policy Conference on Mackinac Island. Pscholka tells WSJM News “Prioritizing Michigan’s Policy Agenda for Cultivating 21st Century Talent” will feature education and business leaders talking about state policies that could help their regions better develop. He has a few suggestions.

“I think we’ve really got to get back to having good business education partnerships out there, more of a focus on career and technical education, and more of an emphasis on social services and how we overcome barriers to make it easier for people to work, to get to the workplace,” Pscholka said.

Pscholka tells us his experience in both the legislature and governor’s administration put him in a good position to talk with state leaders. The Mackinac Policy Conference is one of the largest such gatherings in the country with 1,800 leaders from business, politics, nonprofits set to show up next Tuesday through Saturday.
