The Lakeshore Chamber of Commerce will hold a giveback event next week with the proceeds benefiting the United Way of Southwest Michigan. Chamber Vice President Regina Ciaravino tells WSJM News the event will be all day next Tuesday at Coach’s Bar and Grill in Stevensville.
“Coach’s will give 10% of the proceeds to the United Way,” Ciaravino said.
Ciaravino says the chamber’s roughly 110 members and the general public are being urged to show up so they can make a difference.
“One of the things that the chamber has been doing as we evolve is we want to get more involved in the community,” Ciaravino said.
At 5 p.m. a United Way speaker will highlight some of the organization’s programs with a special partner family representative to share a success story. They’ll also push the annual Day of Action for Seniors, which is set for November 8. The giveback next Tuesday runs from 11 a.m. to 11 p.m.
