We all love our pets and despite our best efforts to keep them safe and secure sometimes they escape outdoors. That’s one reason the Al-Van Humane Society and Community Education Center is having a free microchipping clinic for pet owners from Allegan and Van Buren Counties. Board President Lisa Galdikas spoke with WSJM News about the program.
“The clinic is Saturday from 11 to 3 at our new adoption center,” Galadikas said. “No appointments are necessary. We just ask that you bring your dog or cat’s rabies certificate with to let us know that they’ve been vaccinated.”
The clinic will be held at the Al-Van Humane Society Adoption Center on Blue Star Highway in South Haven. The event is sponsored by the South Haven Rotary Club.
