If you had a burning desire to get some comments in to Governor Snyder before he exits office next week, you’re out of time. There is a phone line set up in Lansing to take comment on all sorts of issues, but the outgoing message now says the administration is unable to take in anything else.

When you call, you’ll hear this: “As Governor Snyder’s term ends, we are no longer able to record comments or directly facilitate constituent requests. The next administration takes office at noon on January 1, 2019 to assist you further.”

There is a long list of proposed changes that the public had little opportunity to comment on during lame duck from online gambling to changes in environmental rules, from school funding to nuclear waste that they may want to support or oppose.
