The end is near for what’s become a relic of the past in St. Joseph. The Family Video store is no longer renting movies and games, as it’s preparing to shut down. Everything is being sold as people started streaming movies online and video game discs started becoming more rare in favor of downloadable content. The owners of Family Video tell Moody On The Market they’re planning to sell the building, and had been making money on real estate much more so than renting and selling movies and games. The last day for the business will be on or before July 6, depending on how long it takes to sell off the inventory.
