A Goshen, Indiana woman is dead following a crash in Niles Township on Thursday. The Berrien County Sheriff’s Department says it happened on US-31 near mile marker 6 just before 2:30 p.m. Sheriff’s deputies learned a Chrysler Concord driven by the 35-year-old Goshen women had been northbound when it crossed the median and struck a southbound Ford Fusion driven by a 17-year-old male from Niles. The 17-year-old and his 16-year-old female passenger were taken by ambulance to Memorial Hospital in South Bend to be treated for non-life threatening injuries. The Goshen woman was also taken to Memorial Hospital, where she later died. The cause of the crash remains under investigation, and the names have not been released.
