The Bridgman case featured on the TV show “In Pursuit with John Walsh” has resulted in the capture of 53-year-old fugitive William Stanson in Mexico. Michigan State Police say Stanson was arrested yesterday and has already been brought back to the U.S. He will be returned to Berrien County to face charges of unlawful flight to avoid prosecution, first degree criminal sexual conduct, and failure to appear for sentencing on his original charge from 2015 of accosting a minor. Stanson fled southwest Michigan in 2015 just prior to being sentenced, and was last known to have been in Arizona.
