A Mattawan woman is facing a felony embezzlement charge as Michigan State Police accuse her of stealing money from the Paw Paw Eagles Club while employed as its secretary. Sixty-nine-year-old Susan Ryan was arraigned Tuesday in district court in Paw Paw. MSP investigators say she’s charged with embezzlement of between $20,000 and $50,000. If found guilty, Ryan faces up to ten years in prison and a fine of as much as $15,000. Troopers from the MSP Paw Paw post launched their investigation in October.
