If you’ve already voted absentee in Michigan, but want to change your vote since more candidates have dropped out of the race for President for the Democrats, can you change your vote? Yes, you can spoil your first ballot, according to Jake Rollow, who is the communications director for the Secretary of State.

“You have up until the Saturday before the election if you’d like to vote by mail again,” says Rollow. “You will need to provide notice in writing and you’ll have to say whether you plan to vote by mail or if you’ll go into the clerk’s office.”

Rollow says if you plan to vote in person, you have to go to your local clerk’s office to change your absentee ballot by Monday. Amy Klobuchar, Pete Buttigieg, and Tom Steyer have all dropped out since the South Carolina primary on Saturday.
