The South Haven City Council will meet as scheduled tonight, but the city is calling on residents to not attend and to watch it online.

Here is the full statement from the city:

The City of South Haven leadership respectfully requests that concerned citizens ask questions from their place of residence. To facilitate this, the City has created a link that citizens may use to ask questions.

The City of South Haven continues to take necessary precautions to help prevent the spread of the COVID-19 virus. In keeping with this goal, an online form has been created for the public to submit questions and comments, therefore avoiding in-person attendance at the March 16, 2020 City Council meeting.

The form for submitting public questions/comments for the March 16 City Council meeting can be found at the following link:  https://sohami.page.link/council

This link, as well as form links for future meetings, will be included in agendas and will be displayed on-screen during meetings. To watch meetings online, go to the City website home page at south-haven.com, click on the icon WATCH MEETINGS ONLINE. You will then click on “Watch Live” to view the meeting online. Alternatively, meetings can be viewed live on Comcast cable channel 21 to residents within city limits.

The form will open on any apple/android mobile device, as well as desktop devices. It does not require a Gmail account to access. Important links:
