Michigan is reporting 999 additional cases of COVID-19 for Wednesday. The Michigan Department of Health and Human Services says the total number of cases statewide is up to 33,966. There have been 113 additional deaths from Tuesday with that total statewide now at 2,813. Berrien County is reporting seven new cases and one additional death. Berrien has had a total of 177 cases and eleven deaths. Cass County is reporting 23 cases, and increase of one from Tuesday. Cass County has had one death from COVID-19. Van Buren County is reporting two new cases, bringing its total to 36 cases and two deaths. The overall fatality rate of coronavirus in Michigan is 8%.
