Pure Michigan and MLive have announced a new partnership to keep people entertained while they’re sheltering in place and social distancing. They’re working with Under the Radar Michigan to host a new virtual concert and entertainment series to benefit the Michigan Restaurant and Lodging Association’s Michigan Hospitality Industry Employee Relief Fund. The fund has been established to benefit hospitality workers who find themselves struggling during the COVID-19 shutdown. “Come Together: A Relief Effort for Tourism Workers” will stream live from Monday, May 4 through Friday, May 8. The shows will each run from 7 to 8 p.m. They’ll be streamed on the Facebook pages of MLive and Pure Michigan. The shows will include performances by Michigan musicians, food and beverage demonstrations, and surprise features. People who watch can make donations to the relief fund.
