Although he isn’t a frequent visitor to the social media world, Kenny Chesney took part in a livestream special to share music from his new album, Here and Now.
Kenny welcomed many of the songwriters from the project, including David Lee Murphy, Brett James, Kat Higgins and Josh Kerr,and shared behind-the-scenes stories and explained why he chose to release the album during now.
He said, “One of the reasons I wanted to release this record now is because people need something to make them happy… Music makes people happy… I want you to know that I hope you’re safe, I hope you’re healthy, I hope that you’re mentally strong because it’s really hard to be mentally strong now.”
