Michigan’s COVID-19 Cases Up 638 On Sunday

The number of COVID-19 cases in Michigan is higher by 638 as of Sunday afternoon to 51,142. The Michigan Department of Health and Human Services is reporting 11 new deaths for a total of 4,891 and recoveries statewide stand at 28,234.

In southwest Michigan, Berrien County is up by 22 cases to 522 with one additional death from Saturday to bring that number to 29. The Berrien County Health Department is reporting 312 have recovered. Cass County has recorded six new cases for a total of 59, and Van Buren County is up by two to 112. There are no additional deaths in those counties this weekend, leaving those numbers at two for Cass County and five for Van Buren County.
