State Releases COVID-19 Totals For Wednesday

Michigan is reporting 659 additional cases of COVID-19 around the state for Wednesday. The Michigan Department of Health and Human Services says there have been 43 additional deaths for the day. Since the start of the pandemic, the state has had 53,009 cases of coronavirus and 5,060 people have died from the illness. The Berrien County Health Department reports 14 new cases for Wednesday and one additional death. It says the patient was a man in his 50s who had underlying medical conditions. Berrien County has had 552 cases of COVID-19, 34 deaths, and 345 recoveries. Cass County reports five new cases for Wednesday with a total of 66, and Van Buren County reports no additional cases for the day. Van Buren County has had six COVID-19 deaths and Cass has had two.
