State Releases COVID-19 Totals For Monday

Michigan is reporting 202 additional cases of COVID-19 for Monday. The Michigan Department of Health and Human Services says the total number of cases around the state since the start of the pandemic is now 54,881. There are 12 additional deaths being reported statewide for Monday, bringing the total up to 5,240. As of Friday, there have been 33,168 recoveries. In southwest Michigan, the Berrien County Health Department is reporting six additional cases of coronavirus for Monday, bringing the total up to 593. There have been 42 deaths in Berrien County, and 393 patients have recovered. In Cass County, no new cases of the illness are being reported for Monday, with that county’s total at 77 with two deaths. Van Buren County is reporting two additional cases, bringing the county’s total to 123 with six deaths.
