Upton Holding Tele-Town Halls With Seniors

Congressman Fred Upton is planning a series of tele-town halls with older Michiganders. He wants to talk with seniors to learn more about how he could help them during the COVID-19 pandemic. Upton tells WSJM News he held his first tele-town hall with the AARP on Monday.

“The question was ‘When are we going to get through this? When are we going to get our lives back to normal again? Tell us about the progress of what’s going on as researchers are working overtime to try to find a vaccine and have adequate testing.’”

There will also be town halls for seniors this Friday and next Thursday. Upton says they are a chance for any senior to reach out. To take part, you can contact Upton’s office. It’s released the following information for taking part:
