The pandemic pushed the tax deadline from April 15 to July 15. CPA James Jenkins of Jenkins and Company says you’re running out of time if you haven’t filed yet.
“Nothing even shadows doing your taxes, and that can be a lot of work,” Jenkins said.
Jenkins says if you can’t finish everything by July 15, you can file an extension to October 15. However, Jenkins says the IRS will expect you to pay an estimated tax in order to get an extension.
