The Cass County Sheriff’s Department is investigating after a driver fled the scene of a crash on Monday morning. It says deputies were called to the intersection of M-62 and Dutch Settlement Street in LaGrange Township shortly after 11 a.m. They learned a vehicle driven by a 74-year-old Cassopolis woman had been stopped to turn left on to Dutch Settlement when it was rear-ended by another vehicle. The driver of that second vehicle ran off. The woman was taken to Borgess Lee Memorial Hospital to be treated for injuries. Police are still looking for the driver who fled the scene.
