Attorney General Warns About China During Michigan Visit

Beware of China. That was the message from U.S. Attorney General William Barr who spoke about the People’s Republic of China at the Gerald Ford Presidential Museum in Grand Rapids this week.

“It is clear that the PRC seeks not merely to join the ranks of other advanced industrial economies, but to replace them altogether,” Barr said. “

Barr said the United States response to the global ambitions of the Chinese Communist Party could be the most important issue for the nation and world in the 21st century. He added the United States has become overly reliant on Chinese goods and services including face masks, medical gowns, and other protective equipment designed to stop the spread of coronavirus.
