The Southwestern Michigan Association of realtors is hosting a community blood drive this week with the American Red Cross. Set for Wednesday, the event is intended to help the Red Cross overcome a massive drop in blood donations. The drive on Wednesday will be held from noon to 5:45 p.m. at Hidden Pointe Hall on Nickerson Avenue in Benton Harbor. The realtors association says there’ an urgent need for blood in the area, and the drive is “our way of allowing staff, colleagues, and neighbors an opportunity to help save lives.” You can make an appointment to help.
