Michigan is reporting 796 additional cases of COVID-19 for Tuesday. The Michigan Department of Health and Human Services says there have been a total of 88,756 cases of the illness in the state since the start of the pandemic. The state reports seven additional deaths for Tuesday, bringing that total to 6,264. However, two of those seven were found through a review of vital records. For Tuesday, Berrien County reported five additional cases for a total of 1,203 and 66 deaths. Cass County reported six additional cases of COVID for Tuesday, making for a total of 311 cases and 13 deaths. Van Buren County reported three additional cases for Tuesday for a total of 416 cases and nine deaths.
