A 27-year-old Berrien County man is in the Van Buren County Jail for meth possession, a concealed weapons charge, possession of a gun during a felony, and two outstanding Berrien County warrants. Deputies arrested Austin Haney on Wednesday night in the 29-thousand block of M-43 in Almena Township when they found him with a disabled motorcycle. They add he did not disclose he was carrying the loaded and unregistered 9mm pistol. The motorcycle was towed away.
