The city of Niles is picking up debris kicked around by storms that hit the community this week. It says property owners should plan to have all their storm damaged vegetation at the side of the curb by early Friday morning. Crews may begin collecting storm debris as soon as Friday morning, but no later than early Monday morning. The city says everyone should remember that debris cannot be placed in the road. It asks residents to stack their brush along the curb line with the stalk end toward the road. Crews will make just one pass through the city to pick up storm debris, so if you miss it, it will be up to you to dispose of your own debris.
