South Haven’s next city manager will be Kate Hosier. She’s been serving as interim city manager since the departure of Brian Dissette this past summer, and the South Haven City Council voted to hire her on a long-term basis Monday night. The vote was unanimous. During the meeting, Hosier gave a presentation outlining the goals she would work toward if selected as the city manager. The top three priorities were housing, economic development, and inclusivity. Following the vote to hire Hosier, the council instructed the mayor and human resources director to begin working on a contract. Hosier told us Tuesday she’s “very happy and excited to continue serving” the city of South Haven.
