If you’re still trying to plan a fall getaway, Ludington officials say it’s a great destination along Lake Michigan. Ludington Area Convention and Visitor’s Bureau Director Brandy Miller told Michigan News Network this week s they have Octoberfest underway now through October 4.
“In addition to being able to explore some of our outdoor activities like trails and some fall color tours, there are quite a bit of events happening, obviously with a lot of safety precautions and protocols in place,” Miller said.
Miller says Ludington has two lighthouses you can tour. There’s also Ludington State Park and the S.S. Badger, a historic ship that’s still operating.
