A virtual town hall will be held next month regarding the opioid crisis and how it has affected west Michigan. The Michigan Department of Health and Human Services and the Michigan Opioids Task Force are teaming up for the session, which follows others already held this year about other regions of the state. To be held from 10:30 a.m. to noon on Friday, November 6, participants will be asked how they have been affected by opioids, what kinds of services might help, and how to fight the stigma of opioid addiction. During the town hall, MDHHS and the Michigan Opioids Task Force will share the 2020 strategy to turn the tide on the crisis. You can find out about attending the virtual town hall right here.
