There have been plenty of people taking the absentee option in Benton Harbor this election. Speaking at this week’s city commission meeting, Benton Harbor City Clerk Kimberly Thompson said her office has been hard at work handling absentee ballots.
“To date, we have over 2,000 absentee ballots to process, a record high 2,000,” Thompson said.
Thompson said as of Election Day, about 88% of the absentee ballots had been returned. City commissioners commended her for all of her hard work on behalf of citizens.
