Michigan is reporting more than 7,000 additional cases of COVID-19 for Saturday. The Michigan Department of Health and Human Services coronavirus website shows 7,072 new COVID cases and 65 additional deaths, 36 of which were identified through a review of vital records around the state. In total, Michigan has had 251,813 cases of the illness since the pandemic started and 7,994 deaths. For Saturday, the Berrien County Health Department COVID-19 dashboard showed the county with 131 new cases of COVID with the county’s total since March now at 4,041. Berrien County reported one additional death for Saturday with the county’s total now at 95.
