State Reports 7,200 Additional COVID Cases Over Sunday And Monday

Michigan is reporting 7,205 additional cases of COVID-19 for both Sunday and Monday combined. The Michigan Department of Health and Human Services coronavirus website says that works out to an average of 3,602 per day for the two days. Michigan has had a total of more than 437,000 cases of COVID since the pandemic started. The state reported 90 additional deaths for Sunday and Monday, bringing the total to 10,752. For Monday, the Berrien County Health Department’s COVID dashboard showed the county with 109 additional cases of COVID over Sunday, bringing its total since March to 7,893. The county had one additional death, bringing its total to 135. Berrien County on Monday had 62 non-ICU hospitalizations and 5 patients in the intensive care unit. Van Buren County on Monday reported a total of 3,459 cases since March, an increase of 57 since Saturday. Van Buren County has had 61 confirmed COVID deaths.
