State Releases Three-Day COVID Numbers

Michigan is reporting 8,983 additional cases of COVID-19 around the state for Thursday, Friday, and Saturday combined. The Michigan Department of Health and Human Services says that works out to an average of 2,994 new cases per day. The state’s coronavirus website shows Michigan has had a total of more than 497,000 cases of COVID-19 since the pandemic began. The state reported 265 additional deaths for Thursday, Friday, and Saturday, 211 of which were identified through a review of vital records. Michigan has had a total of 12,598 COVID deaths since March. For Saturday, the state’s coronavirus website showed Berrien County with a total of 8,788 cases and 178 deaths. Van Buren County was listed with a total of 3,9,31 cases and 73 deaths.
