A man and a woman from Indiana are facing charges after being caught with a large amount of drugs during a traffic stop in Benton Township on Monday. The Benton Township Police Department says officers pulled over a Dodge Charger at Napier and Pipestone around 1:40 p.m. for several traffic violations. A search of the car turned up about 15 ounces of suspected meth, 24 ounces of suspected crack, and a nine millimeter handgun. The 35-year-old woman and 50-year-old man were arrested and taken to the Berrien County Jail. Their names have not been released.
